Shortsightedness Can Be Corrected

Short-sightedness, or myopia, is a common eye condition that causes distant objects to appear blurred, while close objects can be seen clearly and is correctable by a prescription lens or surgery. Whenever there is a solution there is no disability!
Many Christians struggle because they do not make proper or careful judgments about the future. They are blind, careless, foolish, headlong, and ill-advised in their attempts to navigate through life challenges. If their shortsightedness is not corrected it will cause them to fail, become barren and unfruitful in their calling and assignments.
Have they been left unequipped by God? Are they not seeing clearly? What have we not been given to lead the fruitful and productive life that God calls us to?
The good news is that God’s plans for us are fail-safe! They are infallible! He made sure that we are fully equipped, and this truth can be found in 2 Peter 1:5-10 which states that we must make every effort to respond, and that we need to supplement or add to our faith a generous provision of:
· moral excellence
· knowledge
· self-control
· patient endurance
· godliness
· brotherly affection
· love for everyone.
If we choose to develop and grow in these areas, we will never fail because of shortsightedness or blindness. There are no disabilities in Christ Jesus! What good news!
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.
Leviticus 26:3-4
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Ephesians 4:2
