Developed Faith

God gives to us a measure of faith and it is up to us to develop it! We must not falter in the pursuit of this assignment for we need the power of God released in the lives of people that are hurting, families that are in turmoil and our cities and nations that are crying out in desperation for a divine intervention! 

The Bible tells us that faith has a source, and it isn’t us.  Hebrews 12 says that Jesus is the author of our faith. In 2 Peter 1:1 we read, “To those who have been allotted faith equally precious as ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” We are allotted faith in Jesus. It is given to us by God. The very faith necessary to believe God is also provided by the grace of God to all who will receive it.

Hard work is a character trait of one who has developed faith. This faith came from the Word of God. Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes out of hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” The Lord is searching for those who will believe Him and submit to the process to arise in mature faith and advance His kingdom agenda.

It is time to walk in another level of faith and see the invisible, believe the impossible and do the incredible.
